A member of The One’s “transition team”, Valerie Jarret was on “Meet the Press” where she told Tom Brokaw that “given the daunting challenges that we face, it’s important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one.” (emphasis mine)

Only thing is, The One got elected president. We signed out from under that “ruler” thing in 1776. I don’t mind being led, but I am an American and a combat veteran. I don’t do “ruled”.
