I have contributed my own recipe for chili, a recipe for the ages. It’s a REAL chili recipe. It doesn’t call for exotic ingredients. And it doesn’t call for complicated techniques. In short, just the thing for those days that you want hearty food, but don’t want to spend hours int he kitchen or searching your local grocery for Bulgarian bat guano or some other esoteric ingredient.
Talk the talk… or walk the walk…
In the aftermath of the the Indian Ocean tsunami, with a death toll passing 150,000, the UN is in its classic mode of operation. Here’s an article. How like these small-minded bureaucrats. The first order of business is to set up a UN headquarters in a five-star hotel.
The second order is to try to get ALL aid to come in the name of the UN instead of the various nations that are delivering it.
And the third is to try and get the various military elements to wear UN blue.
I would like to see an executive order forbidding American forces from wearing any UN identification materials. Why brand our soldiers with this dishonor?
